Love how you took a close up on the sugar crystalizing on the duck skin :)
Here's our recent post on it

http://www.idelish.com/2012/07/02/china-beijings-famous-peking-duck-at-da-dong-roast-duck-restaurant/Jeremy from idelishhttp://www.idelish.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5279742954313354266.post-72880380024993709992011-11-02T16:39:07.663+08:002011-11-02T16:39:07.663+08:00Yummy. You don't have to be rich to indulge here.

Peter, you have traveled enough in US to know how expensive American restaurants can be, particularly French or steakhouses.

Good stuff from you, as always.

Michael.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5279742954313354266.post-73225660616620211622011-11-01T01:34:36.243+08:002011-11-01T01:34:36.243+08:00Hi Peter,

As you mentioned the same duck at Jinbaohui is priced higher ... well I imagine RMB230 is nothing to people who are rich enough to shop at Jinbaohui. Great thing about Beijing is that as of 2011 I can still afford to visit some of the higher end restaurants. Five years later I'm not so sure.

I'll be looking forward to the rest of your review of Beijing restaurants!

PaulPaulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00043097281088399947noreply@blogger.com
